Met Council designates $677,000 to East Side brownfield cleanups

Schwietz Saloon reopens after lull

River Rats launch summer season at Keller Lake


The Twin Cities River Rats Water Ski Show Team performed this summer’s first show at Keller Lake in Maplewood with pyramids, barefooting, doubles, jumps and more June 26. The ski club normally performs on the Mississippi River in Minneapolis but couldn’t last week due to high water. The water ski show unfolded with a Star Wars theme.

Concert in the park hits Hause Park


People brought their lawn chairs to Hause Park on a nice summer evening and enjoyed a classic rock ‘n’ roll and country concert. An Oakdale man charged with assaulting his 5-year-old daughter and causing a traumatic brain injury -- leaving her in a vegetative state with little hope for recovery -- was taken into custody last week.

District 622 School Board adopts 2014-2015 budget
