About the time the umpire called out, “Play ball!” the rains of April 6 began to cascade on the Hill-Murray softball field.

Local club speaks its way to success

Discovery Toastmasters of Oakdale recently offered a four-week public speaking workshop. The workshop ran from Feb. 22 to March 15 and was designed to help participants to overcome nervousness and learn basic public speaking skills.
