County authorizes public auction on tax-forfeited properties

Washington County will hold a public auction on Friday, March 24 at 1 p.m. for the purpose of selling 14 pieces of property, which were forfeited to the state of Minnesota for nonpayment of taxes. The properties are located in Forest Lake, New Scandia, Oakdale, Pine Springs and Lake Elmo.

County Board accepts donation of TASERS for sheriff’s department

The Washington County Board of Commissioners accepted a donation from Dr. Robert Reardon of eight TASER devices for the Washington County Sheriff’s Office. The TASER is designed to temporarily immobilize a combatant subject with an electric shock.

Allina Medical Transportation has partnered with the Lakeview EMS ambulance service to provide dispatch services for the Lakeview ambulance crews. Stillwater-based Lakeview EMS serves parts of Washington County and the city of North St. Paul as well as parts of St. Croix County, Wis.
