remodeling to Henry Sibley High

The High School Work consists of

construction of a new entry plaza,

gymnasium and fitness area on top

of an existing one-story structure;

significant interior remodeling of

including construction of music/

performing arts area, science

The addition to and remodeling

of the one-story District Office is

included as an add alternate. The

Work consists of construction of a

new entry plaza, building entrance,

a new office addition, interior

remodeling and new and remodel

work of the fire suppression,

plumbing, HVAC, and electrical

services throughout.

The school and office building

areas include the existing building of

approximately 326,200 gross sq. ft.;

the school building entrance lobby

addition of approximately 3,700

sq. ft.; the district office addition of

approximately 1,970 gross sq. ft.;

and the 3-court gymnasium and

fitness area addition of approximately

26,120; for an approximate overall

building area of 357,990 gross sq. ft.

The overall Project site area is

approximately 67.6 gross acres.

The school building site area is

approximately 29.95 gross acres.

Base Bids will be accepted on

a Stipulated Lump Sum basis.

Segregated bids will not be accepted.

Independent School District 197 will

receive Base Bids, Unit Prices and

Alternate Bids on Tuesday, June 25,

2019 at the District Office, front desk,

at 1897 Delaware Avenue, Mendota

Heights, MN 55118. Base Bids will

be received until 2:00 PM, Central

the executed Owner-Contractor

Agreement.

Since the Project will be constructed

in phases, Partial Substantial

Completion and Partial Final

Completion for each phase will be

required. Phasing is indicated on

the Phasing Plans and in Section

01 11 00 – Summary of Work, with

Substantial Completion and Final

Completion of the entire Project in

August 2021.

Electronic versions of the Bidding

Documents (Drawings, Project

Manual and Addenda), are

available by contacting the Owner’s

Representative at the phone number

above. The Owner’s Representative

will provide the Bidders access to

the cloud-based provider Procore

Technologies, Inc. for access to the

documents and provide the Bidders

locations of builders’ exchanges

holding documents for Bidders’

review. Bidders are responsible

for periodic review of the cloudbased

provider’s website for issued

addenda. Bidders are responsible

for any and all costs associated with

the hard copy printing of the Bidding

Documents for their use.

For Bidding Requirements, refer to

AIA Document A701 – Instruction

to Bidders included in the Project

Manual.

A Bid Security in the form of a

certified check, a cashier’s check

or a Bid Bond in the amount of 5

percent of the Bid must accompany

each Bid in accordance with the AIA

Document A701 - Instructions to

Bidders, Subparagraph 4.2.1.

Owner may make investigations

as deemed necessary to determine

the ability and responsibility of

a Bidder to perform the Work. A

Bidder shall furnish to Owner such

information and data for this purpose

in accordance with the requirements

in AIA Document A701 - Instructions

to Bidders.

Owner reserves the right to (1)

accept Bidder’s Base Bid only, (2)

accept any one or more of the listed

Alternates in any order regardless of

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

CITY OF SOUTH ST. PAUL

DAKOTA COUNTY

STATE OF MINNESOTA

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of South

St. Paul (the “City”), Dakota County, State of Minnesota, will hold a public

hearing on July 1, 2019, at approximately 7:00 P.M. at the City Council

Chambers at 125 – 3rd Avenue N, South St. Paul, Minnesota, relating to the

City’s proposed adoption of a modification to the Tax Increment Financing

Plan for the 4th Avenue Village Tax Increment Financing District (a

redevelopment tax increment financing district) (the “TIF District”) within the

4th Avenue Village Redevelopment Project (the “Redevelopment Project”),

pursuant to Minnesota Statutes, 469.124 to 469.133 and Sections 469.174

to 469.1799, all inclusive, as amended. Copies of the Modification are on file

and available for public inspection at the office of the Economic & Community

Development Director at City Hall.

The property to be included in the TIF District is located within the

Redevelopment Project and the City. A map of the Redevelopment Project

and the TIF District therein is set forth below. Subject to certain limitations,

tax increment from the TIF District may be spent on eligible uses within the

boundaries of the Redevelopment Project.

All interested persons may appear at the hearing and present their views

orally or prior to the meeting in writing.
