Arrests
— Officers arrested a 44-year-old man at Snelling and Larpenteur avenues on July 19 and charged him with gross misdemeanor driving after license cancellation, failure to provide proof of insurance and expired vehicle registration. The license plates were seized, the vehicle was impounded and the man was booked at the Ramsey County Jail.
— A 23-year-old man was stopped by police at Snelling and Como avenues on July 19 for displaying revoked license plates and tabs issued to another vehicle, and arrested for failure to provide proof of insurance, operating an unregistered vehicle, and the plate and tab violations.
— Drinking, driving and getting caught recently were a 22-year-old Roseville man, arrested at Snelling Avenue and Idaho Street with a blood-alcohol content of .19 percent July 19 and charged with fourth-degree DWI; and a 21-year-old Somerset, Wis. woman, arrested with a blood-alcohol level of .13 percent and booked at the Ramsey County Jail July 21 on a charge of fourth-degree DWI.
— Police stopped a vehicle with no headlights at Snelling and Arlington avenues the evening of July 23, and were surprised to find a 13-year-old girl in the driver’s seat. The girl was arrested on charges of driving without a license, gross misdemeanor false information to police and failure to display headlights. The juvenile was advised that she would be petitioned into Ramsey County Juvenile Court and was released to her adult brother. The vehicle was impounded.
