Arrests
— Police stopped a 20-year-old man July 28 at Larpenteur and Hamline avenues for driving with an illegal window tint, and arrested him for driving after license revocation, failure to provide proof of insurance, and the equipment violation. The vehicle was impounded.
— A 21-year-old man was stopped in the wee hours July 29 at Larpenteur and Hamline avenues for driving with a single headlight, and arrested for driving after license revocation and the equipment violation.

Indecent exposure
— A woman walking in the 1400 block of Larpenteur Avenue on July 29 heard a man yell. When she looked his way she saw the man, who was standing between two houses, "waving his private parts at her," according to a police report.
It was the 20-year-old woman’s turn to yell, and the man fled the scene.

Theft
— An 83-year-old man reported the loss of a large beach umbrella from his front yard in the 1700 block of Snelling Avenue on July 28. The umbrella was valued at $100.
