South St. Paul service shop owner recognized for service to the community

Seventh-grader Luke Gullerud gets to live out many a kid’s dream: he helps out in an auto shop on weekends and during breaks from school, learning the tools of the trade. 


Payne Avenue’s Caydence Records wins business award, turns to events

Abby Grosse/Review • Caydence Records offers a comfortable space for coffee and conversation, as well as a newly renovated event space that will host the the first-ever Caydence Fest two-day event starting on March 23.

Just a year and a half into its existence, Caydence Records received the East Side Area Business Association’s 2017 “Business of the Year” award on Feb. 8 at ESABA’s annual meeting.


Mendota Heights council greenlights 2018 roadwork

courtesy of City of Mendota Heights • While the Mendota Heights City Council approved a number of road projects Feb. 7, including work on Mendakota Drive, it scrapped planned work on Mendakota Court because the road’s pavement is still viable for five more years.

Council pushes back work on road with still-viable concrete.
