Tartan seeks community support for safe driving campaign


Tartan students hope to win one of nearly 100 grants for their school through participation in a national safe driving campaign.

A group of Tartan High School students are hard at work promoting a safe driving campaign that they hope will bring the school some national attention, as well as a sizeable grant.  But they need your help.

Girls soccer: Strong defense and experience should help Titans this season

The Tartan Titans saw steady improvement as the girls soccer season progressed in 2013. 

This year the Titans are hoping to improve on last season's overall mark of 6-8-4, and 2-6-3 in conference play.

Veteran Tartan wrestling volunteer stepping down

Steve Jackson has been a Tartan High School volunteer of Tartan wrestling for the past 24 years.

After the season last spring, he decided it was time to step away from the game.

STA2RS Banquet 2014

Football: Tartan tops North, Hill-Murray runs roughshod over Richfield

The regular football season wrapped up Oct. 16 with the North Polars traveling to Titanville and dropping a 40-21 decision to archrival Tartan.
The Hill-Murray Pioneers ended the season on a winning note by running away from Richfield to the tune of a 48-7 romp.
