Mounds View girls soccer strong again

Two years ago the Mounds View High School girls soccer team completed an undefeated regular season and advanced to the state tournament. That team was unbelievably stingy defensively as it surrendered only seven goals in 19 games.

On a penalty kick, the North High Polars were thwarted by Hill-Murray goalie Emma Sloot, whose diving save prevented the ball from going into the net just 6:47 into the girls soccer contest Sept. 10 at Hill-Murray.
