Parkinson’s Basics 101 is being offered at North Heights Lutheran Church , 1700 Highway 96 W, Arden Hills on Tuesday, September 11, 2018,10:00am-1:00pm.

This free class is offered by the Parkinson’s Foundation Minnesota. Topics included are motor and non-motor symptoms, Parkinson’s management, how to live well with Parkinson’s and free resources from the Foundation and sponsors.

The Lake Elmo Rotary Club will host its annual Gold Plate Dinner at the Lake Elmo Event Center located at 3712 Layton Ave in Lake Elmo, MN. On September 21, 2018

West St. Paul Mayor Candidates Forum

The League of Women Voters Dakota County will host a forum for candidates seeking to be Mayor of West St. Paul. Ballots will be cast for the candidates before and during the November 6 general election. This event is free and open to the public. The forum will be recorded and subsequently made available on our YouTube channel. Questions for the candidates may be submitted to lwvdakotacty@lwvmn.org.

SubText Books is proud to present an evening with poet Diane Seuss on Thursday, August 9th at 7:00 PM at Gray Duck Tavern. Diane Seuss will read from her latest collection, "Still Life with Two Dead Peacocks and a Girl" (Graywolf Press, 2018), Seuss's follow-up to "Four-Legged Girl," which was a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize in Poetry.
