There’s music for everyone at the fair

The Ramsey County Fair is a free fair that will feature spectacular music of all types on the Fairgrounds Main Stage. Performances will occur all five days of the fair.

Wednesday, July 15, we’ll kick off the fun with a performance from Rhino at 7 p.m. Rhino is a five-member, high energy Twin Cities band playing an array of modern, alternative, ‘80s and classic rock with twists of country and other surprises splashed in.

Thursday, July 16, weíll keep the fun going with the Kurt Jorgensen Band at 7 p.m. playing their unique style of Americana soul.

Friday, July 17, features the duet band of 23rd Hour at 4 p.m. with their blend of hot rock and soul, followed by Skitzo Fonik at 7:30 p.m., who will help you get your groove on to the latest dance hits blowing up the charts.

Saturday, July 18, we’ll country up starting with a  little honky-tonk from the Farmers Daughters at 3 p.m. and ending the night with up-and-comer Mitch Goudy, named one of the Country Music Association’s “Who’s New to Watch” artists for 2014.  He’s becoming one of country music’s hottest new stars.

Sunday, July 19, we’ll celebrate the traditions of our community with dancers from Knocknagow Irish Dancers at 1 p.m. and the Macalester College Pipe Band.

All performances are free to the public, but plan on getting to the fair early to enjoy the amazing food and fun (and to get a good seat)!  The fair runs for five days from Wednesday, July 15, at 5 p.m. through Sunday, July 19, at 9:30 p.m.  For more information, including hours and info on entering a contest or exhibiting your wares, visit the Ramsey County Fair Website at
